Process Skills Probelm-Solving is part of a series of 6 books designed to help pupils grasp mathematical concepts and acquire thinking skills for solving word problems through interesting conversations among our 4 characters - Roy,Eva,Clifford and Aaron.
Each topic in the book consists of 2 sections - Let's Learn and Let's Try. Process skills are taught through examples in Let's Learn with step-by-step explanations. Pupils are urged to study each process skills carefully and apply the skills to solve the questions in Let's Try. Guided steps are provided for challenging questions in Let's Try to help pupils break down the processes of problem-solving. Pupils are encouranged to understand the skills taught but not to memorise them so that they can apply them for questions they may face in future.
Full worked solutions are provided to facilitate self-checking.
